Successful Health Careers Scholarship Program Fosters Future Practitioners
Eduardo Velez of Lake Zurich, Illinois enrolled in Westlake Hospital's Health Careers Scholarship program when he was in high school to gain experience in the health care field and better understand the nursing profession. At the time he didn't know he'd become a full-time licensed nurse seven years later at Westlake Hospital.
